TORBAY BRASS BAND AWARDS

The annual awards for Torbay Brass Band were awarded for 2018. Band person of the year went to Alison Sweet, the Douglas John Mills Memorial Trophy went to Tamsyn Pearce. Also, youngsters from the Academy received their annual awards.

WHAT ARE WE DOING NOW?

After the contest, we are now preparing our programme for the events coming up over the next few months. Youngsters who played in contest, are making progress with the main band and will start to play with them more regularly.

WHERE COULD THEY BE?

Despite repeated adverts through the door, on our Facebook page (over 2500 views), Twitter and our website, we are still short of some players. Torbay Brass Academy Band is now offering places on a Monday and Friday night for young people to learn to play brass instruments. 7.15pm until 8.00pm COST?   ABSOLUTELY FREE!!!
